Delivery Information

Village Candle Store sends orders to the UK mainland, Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands and British Forces postal addresses.

We can also ship to Southern Ireland, mainland Europe or further afield. Postage costs will be added at checkout once you select your destination.

 

Our UK delivery charges are as follows:

UK orders up to £35 4/5 day delivery from dispatch £4.50
UK orders over £35 4/5 day delivery from dispatch Free of Charge
European orders 10/12 day delivery from dispatch £16.00
International orders up to £100 10/12 day delivery from dispatch £50.00
International orders over £100 10/12 day delivery from dispatch £25.00

 

All UK orders, once packed and booked on to the courier system will be sent using an overnight, tracked delivery service.

Your order will normally be dispatched within three working days during the working week, and during our busiest periods within five working days. Please allow 7 working days for your order to arrive.

Orders placed at the weekends will not be processed until the next working day. It is sometimes the case that if you live in a very remote area, or Northern Ireland that your parcel may take a day longer to arrive than the timescales we have quoted.

Home deliveries can start as early as 7am and be delivered as late as 7pm between Monday and Friday.

For UK deliveries, your parcel will be delivered by DPD and should arrive within 1 working day of your despatch email notification. At your own risk, you can nominate a safe place for a parcel to be left in case you are not at home or, you can request that the parcel be left with a neighbour. There will also be an option to deliver to a local store for collection (see below). DPD will attempt to deliver your parcel on three different occasions before it is returned to us as undelivered.

Arrange delivery to your local DPD Pickup shop

Is it more convenient for you to collect your parcel from one of the 2,500 DPD Pickup shops located throughout the UK?

If yes, when you receive your text message or email from DPD, select your nearest shop or maybe a shop on the way to work. They can even give you the directions, opening times, infact everything you need for a convenient pickup.

For your convenience, you are also able to select an alternative delivery address to your billing address, such as a work address.

Non-receipt of Goods

If you have not received your parcel within the timescales quoted on your confirmation of dispatch email please contact us and we will trace the parcel on your behalf.

Should you choose to instruct our couriers to leave a parcel in a location without it being signed for, you do so at your own risk and we cannot be held responsible for non-delivery. Please also note that it is at the discretion of the delivery driver whether or not they feel it is safe to leave your parcel in your requested location.
